R310 adding Hard Drive space
Greetings! I have a Dell R310 with the standard setup Raid1, 2x 250gig Hard drives, which gives one virtual disk of 250Gig. Question, Can I purchase another 2x 1TB SATA drives and create a second virtual disk with Raid1 or do I need to break the current Raid1(possibly format) before adding more storage? Thanks, Gavin

Yes, you should be able to. If you have slots for the 2 additional drives then you can create a second array. I don't know of any of our controllers that only support 1 RAID array.
