Unable to install o/s's on pcie SSD- Exsi 6.0
Hi all!,
I've recently got a dell R610 with a H700 raid card, im trying to install Exsi 6 onto a ssd but when it comes to the install screen it only shows the raid card, there isnt any drives on the raid
boot settings are set to the SSD
raid card is currently disconnected.
the SSD had windows server 2012 installed could it be the fact its UFI? even when the servers set to bios boot
any help would be appreciated

You could try it, but it may not have a driver for it still.

Spoke to the supplyer about this, the drive its self dosnt have a driver for exsi.
I went and used this as a catch SSD drive on hyperV 2012 r2, it flys on a SSD array.

Hi,
Was the SSD working on that system with Server 2012? Booting to PCIe SSD isn’t validated for the R610.

Hi Josh, yep its working, ive gone ahead and installed 2008 server fine onto it,
Exsi dosnt seem to show it, would the dell custom image help at all?
