Upgrade PERC H810 firmware?

Hello,

I have been all over Dell's support site and I am unable to figure out how to get a newer version of firmware for my PERC H810 card. I have version 21.3.2-0005 in it now. That's dated Sep. 2015, IIRC.

Hopefully there is a newer version that will allow me to use my 4TB Seagate drives in it. Right now they're unrecognized, and marked as "BLOCK" in the raid configurator from the BIOS. My reading tells me that I need to "upgrade my firmware". But I can't find anything newer.

Like I say, I have poked around for an hour trying to find newer firmware... putting in various product names and IDs (Dell doesn't recognize "PERC H810" or my device's serial number). I have tried to get there by putting in an Poweredge R630 product ID, and an R620. No joy. Is there a direct link?

Thanks for the help.

Thanks. How do I find the latest version myself in the future, so I can look for updates?

Don't enter your Service Tag on the Support Site, just browse to the Drivers and Downloads page for your server model. If looking for firmware for devices not validated/supported on a particular model, browse to the Drivers and Downloads page for a server on which they are validated/supported.

Hallo,

nowadays (May 2024) seems impossible to find whatever release of PERC H810 firmware. I partially solved downloading SUU-WIN64_22.11.200.513 from DELL website, mounted the ISO image, and using the file named SAS-RAID_Firmware_WJF75_WN64_21.3.5-0002_A09 you can get the PERC H810 firmware updated to 21.3.5-0002_A09. I've used a PowerEdge R640 with Windows Server 2022 OS

Hello I salute your resourceful skills. That would also help the community members here. H810 is quite dated we do not expect any further release on this. Firmware are taken down from the website.
