1950 server not booting when PAE enabled
Hi,
Having an issue. I have a 1950 with 32 gigs of ram and 2 quad core Xeon procs. After initial install of Windows 2003 Ent Ed., windows only sees 1.99 gigs of system ram of the 32 that is there. When I enable the /PAE switch and reboot... it hits the Windows welcome screen and just stops and never gets any further. After about 5 minutes of that it will just reboot itself. Any ideas? Also, I havent updated to SP2 yet.. its still SP 1. Is that why?? Thanks in advance...
Sal

I'd suggest to install Windows 2003 R2 SP2 x64. This way the memory will all be useable without the need for trying to figure out /PAE.

I'd love to however I own this copy and to purchase another piece of software is just not possible right now. Do you think it would be a fix if I updated it to SP2? You think that would take care of the issue?
