Based on the fact that this system uses a 400 or 533MHz FSB (see here),
<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>
combined with the fact that this is a 6th gen server, I'd say the socket is probably 478.The instructions on how to remove the processor (here), show there's a lever, which means it pre-dates 775 sockets.

Is it the Intel 524 chip? 2nd from bottom on this chartI found on Intel.com
