is there a special configuration for the jumpers? how can i format it if i dont see it from my o.s.?

If you have Array Manager installed then you can try adding another virtual disk to the PERC
controller.
If not then do a Ctrl-A or Ctrl-M depending on your PERC and create another vitual disk
from the bios.
Once this is completed go to the Disk Management and look for the new volume.
You will then right click on the volume, write a signature to the it then format.
