Adding a second Power Supply to 2650 PowerEdge Server

Hardware:  Dell PowerEdge 2650 Server 

Single power supply issue: 

Q: When originally ordered the server was purchased with a single power supply. That said, the hardware will accommodate a second power supply in what appears to be a plug-n-play configuration. Can we purchase a second power supply and plug it in and have failover redundant power supplies? Do any changes need to be made to the mother board, like jumpers or are there any other changes , (BIOS) etc. that need to be made? The server runs on Red Hat Linux ES3.
