Booting from ISO with iDRAC?
I am new to the Dell Servers and was wondering if there is a way to boot of an ISO image from the iDRAC console. I see there is a Virtual Meda menu which i opened and I added the ISO and mapped it. But when rebooting the server it didn't boot off that ISO.
Ay help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you are telling the server to boot to the virtual media. It is probably set to boot to some other device first, or virtual media has not yet been added to the boot list.

I just had to look more into the iDRAC settings. Got it working!
