If, after trying the slot recommendations that Todd suggested, you still have issues getting those 2 cards to works, I wanted to add this:
As Broadcom NICs are hard to find (e.g. Newegg doesn't carry any Broadcom NICs), Intel PCIe NICs will have a very good chance of working too.
As for raid solutions, I'd suggest to look for an Adaptec or LSI based solution as these will also have the best chance of working in this server.

Ok I go to Broadcom or Intel NICs.
Thank you for the link, I found the needed info for the RAID: "Your system supports only one RAID card."
I have to buy another "real" SATA card if I want to add disks.

Dsy can u help me about additional NICs . what is your solution for that? i got same problem here with TPLink Ethernet

Finally I use an external USB ethernet adapter. A cheap solution (no VLAN) but enough for now.
I think you should follow the advice from DELL-Todd P
