Can't update the Lifecycle Controller -R610 - Secure Copy Failure

I have an R610 I'm trying to update and am running into a problem.

I'm trying to go from 1.3.0.350 to the current 1.7.5.4.  I'm installing from within the OS (2012 R2).  It starts to go and then errors out with

Execution Status:
Update Failure: Secure Copy Failure.  The secure copy function has failed

Anyone have any idea what that means or how I can get this updated?
