Compatible CPUs for SC1425

Hello,

the SC1425 has two Socket 604, the specs are just mentioning single core CPUs with NetBurst architecture. Some years later Intel released also Xeon-CPUs based on the core architecture also with socket 604, but as multicore and with vanderpool. The latest BIOS is slightly newer than the earliest of these core-processors and the release notes are mentioning an update regarding "dual processor support". Does this mean that the core-CPUs are working in a SC1425? Has anyone tried that?
