Create hardware RAID with 2 nvme drives in Dell servers R630
Hi All,
Im using R630 server and like to use RAID for 2 NVME disks.
We enabled R130 from server and it seems it is supporting for HDD/SSD not for NVME disks.
Create hardware RAID with 2 nvme drives in Dell servers R630
How to do this task ? Is this possible ?

Hello,
The S130 is a SATA controller only, not an NVMe controller. In order to use an NVMe drive, you would need an NVMe controller, but none of the validated storage controllers for the R630 are NVMe controllers. From what I can tell, it looks like the NVMe drives the R630 supported were PCIe SSDs. You can certainly test an unvalidated storage controller, but there's nothing I could recommend to you.
