Hi,
you wrote that you installed 2.1.1 for the R730xd - well I did not find a 2.1.1 the latest version available is 2.11.0.
Please check if you can still connect to iDRAC and if you can see anything in there.
Also, try to clear the NVRAM, this is described in the Users Manual (https://dell.to/3gHWg1X).
Best regardsStefan

Also, I clear the NVRAM and installed again the bios 2.11.0 and the same.
im missing something or do I have to update something.
The life controller updated all server firmware and everything runs good. the issue is the branding.
its correct the bios version is 2.11.0, when was upgraded the motherboard was branded as dell and after the new bios, the bios came unbranded. pic attached.
The correct system is R730xd, and no DELL logo on bios nor IDRAC.

you may try to go back one step in the BIOS updates, so downgrade to one older version to see if it changes the behavior.
Overall, does the system boot? Does it work normally or does it hang on the POST screen?
What does the iDRAC log show, any error messages here?
Best regards,Stefan

the server works great. Does the post and I can access idrac, I have installed VMware esxi 7.0 .
the issue here is the server, lost the dell logo in the bios and idrac. I was reading that I have to install the dell identity module? Any ideas?
right now the sever is as OEM.

Hey,
so this sounds like you have an OEM system there.
You might try it with this download here (https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/drivers/driversdetails?driverid=xy8jf&oscode=naa&productcode=poweredge-r730xd).
Please first check the Installation instructions on the page (scroll down), as it may harm the system.
Seriously, I don't know what can happen but in the worst case the system will get unresponsive, so proceed on your own risk.
If everything is working fine, I recommend using it as it is and do nothing else. But that's just my humble opinion.
Best regards
Stefan
