Dell 2161DS-2 KVM Firmware Update problem

I'm running a pair of Dell 2161DS-2 remote console switches. I downloaded the new Kenobi firmware (v1.2.3.1) and was able to update one of the switches, but the other refuses to update. As soon as I click "Update" it gives me the message "The Remote Console switch is unable to perform the operation at this time. Please try again later."

I have tried rebooting the switch, running the update in the local network, clearing settings (made sure they were the same as the other, successfully updated switch), all to no avail. I've googled and searched these forums but cannot find any reference to my problem.

Any ideas?

I have the same exact problem with 2 Dell 2161DS-2. Does anybody have a solution?

This irritated me for a while too, finally resolved by running Dell Rack KVM 2161DS Digital Switch Version 2, Rack KVM 4161DS Digital Switch, v. 1.1.0.0 , A01-00 first (R132108.EXE). I was on version 1.0.13 or something old like that. After this upgrade seemed to work

I won't have a chance to check. I gave up on getting an answer here and called Dell support. They said they usually just ship out new hardware to remedy that problem, which they did. Interestingly, though, when I received the hardware I still had to perform the BIOS update, but this time it worked.
