Dell OME firmware update job failed
Hello,
We are going through over 350 Dell PowerEdge 730xd's and updating all the firmware for the servers using Dell OME. We get the below error on 61 of the servers, while the others complete. No matter if the baseline firmware job has all 61 servers selected or just 1. We can manually update the 61 servers from the iDRAC and have most already. Just can't update the 61 servers from Dell OME.
Here's a screen shot of the error from the job queue... We have tried all 3 options in the error and that did not resolve. We also tried to unassign the profile of one of the servers and rediscovered it, with no success. We get the same error.
Dell OME Version: 3.7.0 (Build 82)
Regards,
John

Yes... We did try resetting the iDRAC and that didn't change the outcome. We also pulled power on the servers and flea drained.

Hello johdav432,
Could you check that the LCC is enabled?
-boot to F2 -> System Setup -> iDRAC Settings -> Lifecycle Controller to check status
-Choose: Lifecycle Controller set to Enabled
-Collect System Inventory on Restart set to Enabled.
-Cancel Lifecycle Controller Actions set to Yes.

Hi Charles... Yes, the LCC is enabled?
I checked the following, but didn't see an option to cancel LC actions. Why would you want to cancel the LC Actions?
-boot to F2 -> System Setup -> iDRAC Settings -> Lifecycle Controller to check status
-Choose: Lifecycle Controller set to Enabled
-Collect System Inventory on Restart set to Enabled.
-Cancel Lifecycle Controller Actions set to Yes.
Thanks,
John
