If the BIOS and iDRAC version of the server is outdated, updating may do some fixes. Unless there is a hardware failure of course. However, please note that if the FW versions are too old, trying to update directly to the latest version may cause problems on the motherboard. If it's too old I would suggest you to start updating from previous versions. I see that there are the latest versions of BIOS 2.9.0 and iDRAC 2.65.65.65, you can check it from the site here https://dell.to/2WqoTMh
Apart from that, you can check the exact error or warning message on the SEL log, and then clear the SEL log via iDRAC. https://dell.to/2UQLIYU
