That is something I was looking for, the thing is I cannot see listed R510 servers compatible with ISOs any way how I can check it? I will update thread if I will find it. I found that for 11G needs a custom image, I checked now: For models not listed such as older, PowerEdge 11G or PowerEdge C Series servers, Dell EMC Repository Manager (DRM) can create a custom ISO image. For details, view Dell EMC Repository Manager.
I checked DRM and when I am trying to create bundle I can not fond Dell PowerEdge R510. It has listed R440 and R520 but no R510
The systems earlier than the 12th generation servers have been removed from our catalog, as far as I'm aware. I'm fairly certain that you would need to create your own catalog to pull update packages from.
I don't believe we have any. I've done it before using the manual and it wasn't too bad, but I do distinctly remember it taking a little time. I do have a couple of resources that I can share with you. I've got 2 videos from our YouTube channel that should be helpful, then the manual itself.
These videos are a bit dated, so don't be too surprised if your interface looks different to what you see here. This material should help you get started, though.
I continued working with that server to get it back after some additional information was coming it seems that I have a new version of what happened.
After the windows update that was counting on some of the latest drivers on the server stop booting. I am trying to boot to the LifeCycle controller by pressing F10, as well as when I am trying to boot to SLI by pressing F11.
As a workaround, I found if to disconnect PERC H700 server will boot but that way I have no way to update the driver for PERC.
I am aiming to find a way how to update all firmware with the current state of the server. As result, I hope to get the server back to work.
Bellow, I attached a few images basically capturing the boot process and shows as I attempt to press F11 but it brings me to the finish line only to RAID controller utility.
Continue to wait and press one more time to F11Nothing happened, keep waiting...Starting the serverStart pressing F11The server confirms with message Entering to UEFI...
Since I was not able to boot with perc h700 connected, I disconnected the controller and it allowed me to boot to SLI
Currently, I do update all available drivers. Due to the controller was disconnected I believe the cache will be lost I disconnected the battery as well (maybe it was the mistake).
Hi personally at this point I'm suspecting disk/drive 4 needs a replacement however in to secure this idea you will need to have your logs checked by phone support team. Please get in touch with local phone support with the system's service tag.

I am sure the issue happened because of outdated firmware on perc h700
all was good before the windows update, and the server stop sees vd:00 right after a reboot.
How can I update perc h700 in that case? It doesn't let me go to Lifecycle tool or boot to SLI

While do agree with updating the H700, I would start with the BIOS and iDrac themselves. Could you confirm what version those are currently at?
Also, as far as the H700, you can run the windows version from the OS.
Let me know what version you have and I can advise on the downloads.

Unfortunately, I cannot proceed with "Also, as far as the H700, you can run the windows version from the OS. "
since after Windows OS was patched I cannot boot to the system. This is why I need to have the way how to patch PERC without access to windows.

You can indeed use Repository Manager, as well as for the BIOS and iDrac update you can also run those from the Lifecycle Controllers Update tab.

Hi Chris,
I tried now to use Life Controller Update tab.
I choose FTP as a source for updates, it says Verifying the signature of the Catalog and then red warning window with the message:
No update is available. Make sure that the Windows(R) catalog and Dell(TM) Update Packages for Windows (R) used

I found some confirmation posted earlier, here in that link regarding 11g
Thank you for your reply, Dylan, do you mind sharing some links on how to create my own catalog since it never was done before by me.
