Dell PowerEdge T110 II cannot power off with power button

Recently I upgraded the BIOS version from 1.2.0 to 2.10.0 using the method described here: https://www.dell.com/support/article/nl/nl/nlbsdt1/sln296511/dell-poweredge-servers-updaten-via-opstartmedia-iso?lang=nl, and the Smart Bootable ISO for PowerEdge T110 II.

I installed the ISO on a USB drive and booted the server from that USB drive, but it gave me the following errors:

I don't know why it was not able to mount my usb drive. But I work around the problem as follows:

Alt+F2

mount /dev/sdc1 /opt/dell/toolkit/systems # sdc1 is the first partition on my usb drive

/opt/dell/toolit/systems/drm_files/apply_bundles.sh

It seems to work but it gives me the following warning and errors:

warning: /opt/dell/toolkit/systems/RPMs/rhel7/yumrpms/gnupg2-2.0.22-4.el7.x86_64.rpm: Header V3 RSA/SHA1 Signature, key ID f4a80eb5: NOKEY

After I rebooted the system I was not able to use the power button to power off the system. The only way to shut the system down is by using a OS command or by unplugging the power cable. After I shut it down using an OS I am able to power on the system with the power button, but power off does not work.

I have tried to hold the button 5 seconds, 10 seconds and 30 seconds, but nothing works. The light stays on and the system does not shutdown.

Hi,

You might want to try to back flash to the previous versions and manually installing each update to see if it updates.
