Since I've got a "PERC H730 Mini (Embedded)" I figured from reading Dell Documentation that if I want to replace the H730 I need to get another Mini controller that sits in the same slot on the motherboard. So I went a head and got a "Dell PERC HBA330 mini mono 12G SAS Storage Controller" that I am now waiting for to arrive.
After replacing that I should have a HBA controller instead of a RAID controller, hopefully that works better with TrueNAS.
Crossing my fingers that this is the right way to proceed.
