Fan speed depend on multiple factors and depend on your configuration. Hard disk is one of the factor. Hence I can not guarantee that fan speed will drop to 20%

4T7DD is a supported drive for PowerEdge T630. Are you planning to replace the drives in existing virtual disk or will be creating new virtual disk using these new drives

Thanks, Yes just adding these new ones (All others removed), will the speed of the fans then drop to 20%?

Single Disk - Raid0

This is a single disk testing in RAID0This is a single disk testing in RAID0

Same Disk in X4 Raid 10

This is a 4 Disk pool in Raid 10This is a 4 Disk pool in Raid 10

Do these speeds look right? (All using cache and read ahead, write back)

Hello jonessc,

I sure that list will be longer.

To help narrow it down; What capacity are you looking for?

Hello jonessc,

I'm sorry we don't do performance tuning but I was able to supply part numbers validated for the T630.

Are you having problems with the functionality? Do you have any faults or failures to report?

Try running the build in diagnostics:

Boot to  F11 on Dell Splash screen, selecting  Boot Manager -> System Utilities -> Launch Dell Diagnostics.  Note any messages and continue testing.

If this is an issue where you need performance tuning for a specific OS/application, that is handled by a separate team here at Dell and is typically a paid for service. If this is what you are interested in your account team would be able to provide more insight into getting this process started.
