Device option ROM on embedded NIC failed to support Link Tuning or FlexAddress
I like to report this new potential issue I am seeing on M630 blade system. After upgrading all the firmware using the latest SUU (16.12.00.130), we are noticing the following error message everytime server is rebooted.
"Device option ROM on embedded NIC failed to support Link Tuning or FlexAddress."
This generates 'Critical' alerts in OME and sends out emails.
This is what we see during the boot;
Below is we see when I run the SUU within Windows, on another M630 which has not been built yet. So obviously one of the firmware is causes this.
Which firmware is the cause and is there a fix available?!

Hi Robert,
Prior to OS deployment process where we use PXE boot and SCCM, we have used life-cycle controller to upgrade all the firmware.
Firmware version we have upgraded to is 17.5.10.
How do I verify WSMAN commands were used to set Virtual Address Management to console mode? Does Life-cycle controller use WSMAN?
