If I have a long delay for about 1 hour for UEFI to restart OS or to to enter functions of UEFI does clearing NVRAM can help with UEFI or only for BIOS boot mode?
NVRAM is basically where BIOS configuration data is stored. Clearing the NVRAM allows the BIOS to re-detect all connected parts and resets other settings to their defaults. Briefly, BIOS will reset to default settings(Factory settings). Hence the SATA and boot settings will also change.
I'm not sure understand exactly what you mean by clearing UEFI but Boot Settings will revert to default. If UEFI is selected as boot mode, the server will change to BIOS boot mode.

Hi,
I have a problem where "Initializing UEFI, Please wait..." hangs for about 50 minutes before OS loading.
So I did BIOS Reset by clearing the NVRAM and now everything is working where "Initializing UEFI, Please wait..." takes about 3 seconds.
So I conclude that clearing NVRAM is also "fix" UEFI problems.

Hello AG,
If I understand your question correctly; Yes you can clear NVRAM whether you are in UEFI or BIOS mode.
It will not reset the BIOS password if you have one. There is a separate jumper for that.
To Clear NVRAM -
Shut down, remove power and cover.
Set the NVRAM jumper on the system board to clear position.
--There should be a map under the cover to locate it. --
Boot up to the error on screen about the jumper.
Shut down, return jumper to default position, reinstall cover.
Power up and check results.
