E2111 Memory errors on PE1950
I have a PE1950-III running Windows 2003 Server R2 X64 Std Edition. It has a growing history of E2111 memory errors. Three 2GB DIMMs have been replaced, but even the replacements keep failing with E2111 messages on the LCD. The OMSA SEL shows it go to warning state at random times, and to critical state a few minutes or hours later. It is one of our NetBackup servers (backing up from SAN disk to SAN disk and then duplicating onto tape) but it isn't failing at times of heavy load.
Any ideas/similar experiences?
Thanks in advance
Ian

I have two brand new R715's and both servers are having the same issue. The first thing I see when go to the Dell support page is a link "How do I clear SBE memory logging" so Dell must be aware of the issue.
At first it appeared to be a certain Dimm module causing the problem. Both were Hynix brand and those were replaced. Now we have that error again on a 3rd dimm, another hynix module.
What brand are your modules? Have you solved the issue yet?
