Emergency Power Generator

Aloha.  I live in Hawaii, where we have lots of hurricanes.  I am planning to get a gas-powered generator so I'll be prepared the next time we lose power.  I was told that I need to know how much power my PowerEdge T-130 server pulls, so I can choose the right sized generator.  I know NOTHING about watts, volts, or anything electric.  So I hope someone can tell me the information I'll need to tell the generator salesperson.

He also said to check my UPS.  The specs for that say: Capacity: 1500 VA / 900 W.  I assume that is the info I need regarding the UPS?

Any help will be gratefully accepted.

Aloha and mahalo.

Aloha,

You can control the amount of energy that the T130 server draws from the power of the generator here via https://dell.to/2X6esuW You can adjust your total power requirement accordingly.
