Factory reset t340

I'm trying to factory reset this server. I was told to use lifecycle however I'm having some trouble. On the OS deployment I'm receiving "unable to retrieve the list of supported operating systems" . Any suggestions on how to proceed are appreciated.

Which operating system are you trying to install on the server?

This message will generally come when there is no OS driver pack installed on the server. Can you install driverpack (Link below) using iDRAC update option and check whether you are getting same message after that.

Hi,

Please check also the iDRAC firmware version. If the iDRAC firmware is not up to date, perform an iDRAC firmware update before updating it to the latest Lifecycle Controller operating System Driver Pack. IDRAC firmware that is out of date is the most important reason why an existing OS Driver package cannot be identified. After the DRAC firmware is updated as needed, update the operating System Driver Package.

Let us know if this helps.

Thanks for following up! I'm working with a Dell engineer to resolve the issue so you can close this thread.
