How to Restore Utility Partition on 400SC
I formatted my HD and erased the utility partition. I checked, but the system CD doesn't contain a tool to reinstall the utility partition. Is there any other workaround?

Hi,
The Openmanage Server Assistant CD that shipped with your system will actually be able to recreate the utility partition. However, in order to do so, it would be necessary to remove any existing partitions (since the utility partition must be the first partition present on your hard drive/array). The easiest way to reinstall the utility partition and reinstall the OS is to boot your system to the Server Assistant CD and perform an Express Setup of the operating system. During this process, your drive will be reformatted and a new utility partition created.
