There is a tool On the Dell FTP site called eventlog.bat which uses bmccfg.exe --clearsel
That is what you need I'm not sure ATM where to find it. I can post a link to my copy of the tool tomorrow

Or install openmanage from your support page. You can clear logs from there. If you have no OS look into openmanage livecd to clear logs.

This is the livecd I was talking about. You can use user: root pass: dell to log in. Use server administrator to clear logs. If this does not work I will get the floppy-based tool I talked about before.

You may need to download the "deployment toolkit" from your support page. After downloading that, extract it to find bmccfg.exe
Make a bootable MS-DOS floppy disk or cd-rom with the file on there, change directory over to your disk and run the file. Let me know how it goes!

Find this support document in order to configure the BMC (on-board logs) use the command bmccfg.exe --clearsel in order to clear the SEL logs
