How to fix UEFI0130 error

Hi! I recently started having some issues related to loss of bios date/time after an unexpected shutdown. The error UEFI0130 - "The system time and date is invalid" appeared after restarting the computer, and the boot does not occur after a user confirmation via keyboard.

I researched this error, and saw that it could probably be a problem with the CMOS battery. Looking at the statuses provided by idrac8, the battery was ok.

Every time the computer loses power this error happens. Then I tested the CMOS battery voltage and it was 1.5V less than half the rated voltage. Then I replaced the CMOS. After performing the CMOS replacement, the server started to behave strangely. After plugging the power cable into the PC, and pressing the power button, the server does not turn on.

After several tests I noticed that the server only turns on when I unplug and plug in the power cable a few times (between 2 and 3 times), and then it turns on by itself, without me pressing the power button. When entering idrac8, the system shows battery recognition failure, but I tested the CMOS voltage and it is 3.3V, normal.

I tried to change the battery again, but again, the system does not recognize the battery and loses the date/time with each loss of power.

What to do? It is a poweredge R230, with updated bios and idrac in the latest versions.

You can try reset the BIOS setting to default and check the behavior. You can use NVRAM_CLR jumper to reset the BIOS setting. You can refer below link for details
