How to turn off orange flashing light
How do you turn off the orange flashing error light on a 1750? We have found the problem but it still flashes.

When the orange flashing light is on, the problem is logged on the LCD screen on the front of the server. If you server does not have an LCD panel, the errors are also logged in the OMSA logs, and Windows System or Application event logs. So you have lots of places to look.
For the OS to log the events, you do need to have OMSA installed. (This should be installed on any Dell server to ensure you get critical hardware events) If you do not have OMSA installed, you can download 1.6 from this website (for W2K and W2K03) and 1.3 for NT4. There is also a version for Linux.
To check OMSA, in a web browser, go to https://servername:1311
