IDRAC PowerEdge R430 Network stops responding.
Hi All,
I need assistance, I have a IDRAC server R430, firmware version is 2.52.52.52.
Yesterday what happened is my file server which is connected to the IDRAC restarted and booted up, a shutdown process was initiated by Powerchute Network Shutdown causing the server to power off as our UPS was having issues. The server was keep restarting as the Powerchute Network Shutdown Event called ‘Runtime Exceeded’ shutting down the server after every 600 seconds which was configured. However when I tried to log into IDRAC I found it was not working. IDRAC Port on the switch was up and connected but I couldn't ping the IDRAC IP. I had to shut / unshut the port on the switch which resolved the issue. It happened before in the similar situation.
Could you please advise what is the reason?

Hello
I suggest that you review the available logs to see if you can find more information. When you power on the server from a complete power loss it is best to wait 1-2 minutes after connecting power before turning the system on. This allows the iDRAC time to come online.
