Ignore Fan Failure
The fan on our PE2200 went recently. As Dell told me they no longer carry replacements, and I could not remove the old fan from the case, I had to put a fan in another location in the case.
So all is well and good and the new fan cools the system fine. However, I still get an error on startu that the fan has failed. Unplugging it doesn't help. This error prevents a remote restart of the system.
So is there any way to tell the BIOS to ignore the fan error?

Maybe Mark the Dell Dude would be so kind to tell us.
