Installing HBA330 min into an R730XD
Hi all,
I just bought this server and card, it came with a mini raid controller with all disks visible. However, I just installed the 330 mini and cannot see it in esxi, I have also tried changing the mode from AHCI to ATA.
Any pointers?

I have a workaround for this for now.. but curious as to why this was even an issue!
I took the bracket sitting near the cable to connect the hba out and it sits flush now and I can see it in the bios.

Ok I removed the hba330 and reinstalled the h730p and saw how it is meant to sit.. but for whatever reason on the hba330 mini the heat sink is getting in the way of it sitting flush, the plastic bit to the left of the card hits right under the heatsink.. not allowing it to go all the way in.
