Installing Ubuntu 10.04 on new PowerEdge R320 - "No Network Interfaces detected"

Hey all,

How can I install Ubuntu 10.04 on these new machines? I've tried changing the NIC settings in the BIOS but nothing seems to effect it. Is there additional drivers that I can install after installation?

Kevpatts,

The NIC issue is being caused by Ubuntu not being fully supported, so its driver isn't working. What you will need to try is updating the NIC driver. Now a RHEL package won't work as it has add ons in the update to the driver. You would need to try this one from Broadcom - http://www.broadcom.com/support/license.php?file=570x/linux-3.133d.zip

Let me know how that one works for you.
