Yes tiering. I need to connect up KMM in a rack with two M1000e and four C8000. I would like remote network access. What device should I use?
According to the M1000e manual you can tier digital KVM?:

Hello
I'm not sure what you are asking, I assume you are asking about tiering. The iKVM in the M1000e can be tiered with other analog switches that support OSCAR. The DMPU108e is a digital switch, it cannot be tiered with the iKVM on the M1000e. The iKVM can be tiered with analog or digital KVM switches that use OSCAR.
Thanks

Since there is conflicting documentation I looked through more documentation. Yes, the iKVM can be tiered with digital KVMs. The iKVM is not listed in our KVM compatibility documents, but I suspect it will have the same cross-compatibility as the switch it is based on(4161DS). Our older KVMs can be tiered with the newer KVMs(DMP) as long as the older KVM is in front of the newer KVMs, on the side toward the server connection.
Thanks
