KVM Switch

PowerEdge 2450
Belkin OmniView Pro 8-port KVM

The PowerEdge does not accept input through the keyboard if the OmniView Pro is NOT selected on the port which the PowerEdge is plugged in. So far this is the only server I've seen exhibit this behavior. Anyways, we are pleased with the server and I am intrested to know which KVM the PE2450 is compatible with as we had planned on getting more of these.

Thanks

Geoff

I too find a Belkin OmniCube "with full emulation" is not good enough for the Dell at power up unless it is the actively selected server. OUCH!! I have used another simpler switch with ALSO NO LUCK!!

PS: And thanks, you just saved me from buying a Belkin OmniView and wasting my money!!!
