Loud MD1200, and OSMA dont have configurable fan settings.
Hi guys,
I just got my self a used MD1200 Powervault, and to my disappointment this thing is too bloody loud even next to my 3x R710.
I have gone into OSMA and there seems to be no fan settings for the powervault, so i take it this is just how loud the fans are on the md1200.
Or anyone found a way to bring the noise level down?

Someone may share how they altered the system itself, but make sure the firmware is up to date - firmware updates often address efficiency, but at the end of the day, this is still a datacenter device that was not designed to be quiet.
