Memory Upgrade on PowerEdge T410

Hello,

I went on the Kingston website on the memory finder. I ended up buying the 48 GB of RAM.  I got six 8GB DIMMs.

Specs: DDR3 , 1600MHz , ECC , CL11 , X8 , 1.5V , Unbuffered , DIMM , 240-pin.

I installed it and got an error E2011 at boot up.  did I order the wrong DIMMs?

Thanks

Jparra72,

Unfortunately it does look like that is the case. The T410 only looks to support 1,2, or 4GB Udimms for the T410. Now if you chose to go with the Rdimms it would allow for larger dimm capacities and totals.

Hope this helps clarify things, even with it not being the answer you prefer.
