Need Memory for PowerEdge SC420

Question

I only have 256mb ram on my box and looking to buy some more. Is the memory ECC or Non ECC? What brand is compatible to my SC420? Thanks.

the default ram that ships with the SC420 is ECC. You can use either ECC or NON-ECC, just be sure that ALL the ram in your system matches. Be sure every stick is either ECC or NON, as you cannot mix/match. Cheers.
