New T350 downgrading to WS 2016
I'm getting a new T350 server, but I'd prefer to run WS 2016.
I have no problem doing the OS installation, but will I need to manually install any chipset, USB or any other drivers???
I assume I can find any drivers I need somewhere around the Dell site (I've never purchased a machine from Dell before).
Thanks!

Hi @Cain57,
As Shine said, WS 2016 version is not tested with PE T350 at our labs, hence we cannot confirm the reliability of the server after installing WS 2016.
Please refer to the below link for any driver/ firmware download after purchasing your PE T350 server.

Windows 2016 is not a supported operating system for T350. Not supported does not mean it will not work. As it is not supported it is not validated, hence we can not guarantee that it will work. You can wait for another Community member who tried this and share their experience. You may face issues with OS installations and driver availability. You can refer below link for details on windows operating system supported on various PowerEdge servers.

Thank you for the replies and information.
I'm assuming I can still get technical support, even though I'm running WS2016. I'm very familiar with WS 2012, and would like to move away from WS2012 and move to WS 2016.
I strongly prefer the Windows Server Essentials Experience (WSEE), and sadly it is not available on WS 2019 or WS 2022.
I'll eventually migrate to one of the newer Operating Systems, but for now WSEE is a game changer for me.
