Non responsive server BIOS

Question

Hi all.... I have a old PowerEdge 410 server that I am trying to get working. This machine use to work perfectly until I decided to replace (windows server 2008) the operating system with windows 10. Now I am unable to get into the BIOS regardless of which keys or combination of keys I press. Is it possible someone could advice me on how to resolve this problem?   Thanks in advance BOB.G

Hi, In the top bar is an envelope icon. Select the and then select the New Message popup.  There is no cost for the for the forum.

F2 during POST should get you into the BIOS. Sounds as though the keyboard may be disabled. Try loading the Support Live Image found at:

http://www.dell.com/support/contents/category/Product-Support/Self-support-Knowledgebase/enterprise-resource-center/Enterprise-Tools

You can also try reseating the CMOS battery. That will clear NVRAM and BIOS.
