Old PowerEdge 600SC - HELP! Is this a normal ATX Power Supply or not?

Hi folks,

    Been searching for days. Want to upgrade my (gasp) old PowerEdge 600SC's power supply. Machine is fine but fan in PS is way too noisy.

    I found this article http://www.pchardwarehelp.com/Power-Supply.php which states the PowerEdge 600SC has a standard ATX power supply and can be replaced with any ATX power supply.

    But then I found this article http://www.overclockers.com/articles729/ which says the power supply is non standard (and even provides a picture).

    So which is it? How do I know? I really don't want to fry my motherboard! :-)
