BAT0002 should refer to the system board battery, not the PERC battery. BAT0017 should specify the battery in the error. If it is referencing the PERC1 battery in the error then check controller logs and battery status in OpenManage Server Administrator.
It is possible to receive PERC battery failure messages during normal learn cycles. If the battery status goes to failed during a learn cycle but returns to a good status afterward then the error can be ignored. Make sure you are running the latest firmware on the PERC to avoid erroneous errors.
