Power button and LED one is glowing and server is not coming up for Poweredge SC1430
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am having issue with my Dell Poweredge SC1430 server. When I power on my server, it is not coming up and I do not see anything on my monitor screen. Only things, I can see are the green light on power button and LED 1 is glowing. I have no idea, why my system came down all of sudden. Please help me in this regards.
Thanks,
Kranthi Banoth

Kranthi,
If the power button is steady green and you have a #1 indicating on the 4 LED's then the issue indicated is;
"Memory subsystem configuration activity is in progress. No memory modules were detected."
One thing you can try is to swap out the dimms with known good. Also, what I would suggest is power down the server and take to a Minimum to Post configuration, which is removing everything but the following:
If it powers up with that configuration then add removed items back to the server one by one till the issue returns and identifies the failed part.
Let me know how it goes.

Hi Chris,
I tried the steps you mentioned above and I did not see any change. I see, same power button and a #1 is glowing. I removed all the connections from mother board and from SMPS, except power cable to mother board and one RAM ind DIMM1 socket and a processor. Please help me out, if any other steps needs to be taken or let me know, if any hardware is failed.
Thanks,
Kranthi
