PowerEdge 1400SC CPU upgrade - 11GEF VRM substitute
Hello,
I have a Poweredge 1400SC, 933Mz PIII, with I think Coppermine technology (I bought it May 31, 2001). I contacted Dell Parts for a replacement VRM with part # 11GEF (which I think is the right part #, correct?). They said their inventory is locked up by Service and may not be able to release one for me.
Is there ANY substitute for 11GEF VRM (VXI, Celestica, Delta)? Or...is there a substitute from HP or another manufacturer? If so, what are their part #s?

Dell has a kit
DPN 311-1273 1.0GHZ/256K, PE1400,CUST
Which includes these parts:
11GEF Voltage Regulator Module (VRM)
2C970 Heatsink
4C788 Heatsink Clip
3D581 Processor (This is an Intel RB80526PZ001256 - SL52R)
