PowerEdge 1800 Startup Issues
I received a poweredge 1800 from a friend and was hoping to setup a server for home use with it, but upon plugging in the server I found that while the power supply fans start up, nothing else seems to. The only thing present is a flashing green light in time with an orange light. The server was working prior to being moved and I don't think it was exactly tossed about, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what might be the issue.

Try clearing the NVRAM using the jumpers on the motherboard.
If that doesn't work, then try removing everything non-essential ... external devices (except monitor - even try another monitor if you have one ... the most basic one you can find), hard drives, optical drives, RAID controller or network cards. You might even try removing all memory to see if you get a 1-3-2 beep code.
If still no go, then try reseating the processor.
