PowerEdge 2400 KVM Problem
I have three PE2400's and one generic server on a Belkin OmniView 4-port (model F1D104-OSD). If I try and boot any of the Dell boxes while it is not the currently selected port on the KVM, they boot fine, but when I switch to them, the keyboard and mouse are unresponsive. I can connect and use the box via Terminal Server, just not from the local console. The only way I can get the 2400 to have an active keyboard and mouse is to have that box selected when I boot it. The generic server works fine whether I have that port selected or not when it boots. All Dell servers have the latest BIOS and ESM firmware updates All servers are running Windows Server 2003 Standard SP1 This KVM is a PS/2 switch, not USB. The KVM is powered. I've tested this with a different OmniView as well as with different keyboards and mice. Are there any BIOS settings or Windows settings that I'm missing here? Thanks
