PowerEdge 2800 Power Supply question
We have just ordered a PE 2800 w/ redundant power supplies.
In planning our UPS for this system, we would like to know if the server uses both power supplies at the same time, or does it use a primary PS until it fails then switch to the secondary?
If it only uses one at time, it seems that it would use less power. We plan to use two UPS's, one on each power supply, for failsafe redundancy.
