PowerEdge 4600 memory upgrade
Hi,
I've already read the post named "PowerEdge 4600 memory upgrade" and the "poweredge 4600 memory questions".
I bought memory to upgrade our poweredge 1600sc and poweredge 4600.
It's corsair 512MB PC3200 ECC Registered.
Upgrade of the poweredge 1600 worked fine but not the upgrade of the poweredge 4600.
This server had already 1Gig (4*256 PC2100) and I've tried to had 2Gig (4*512 PC3200)
with 4*512 on the bank 1 and 4*256 on the bank 2
(the largest is installed on the bank 1 as indicated in the documentation)
The system halt and display a message like "incomplete bank or incorrect memory".
How can I solve this problem ?
(I've already done a bios upgrade and checked 3 times that the memory is well connected)
