Servers as such don't support trunks; their NICs do.
Which NICs does your server have? If you have Broadcom NICs, you have to install BACS to be able to team. If you have Intel NICs, you need to install the ProSet software.

Hi, link aggregation will work fine. You will need to configure it in the Intel Pro Set software that is relevant to your network cards.
