PowerEdge R340-KVM not working
Has anybody else experience an issue using a KVM switch with a PE R340 server?
We have a TrippLite LVM B020-U08-19-IP switch that works with other servers (so the device is good) that gives me a problem when connected to a PE R340. The keyboard and monitor works but the track pad does not work with just this one server.
I am trying to install the OS so I don't yet know if it will works when Windows is loaded but I cannot get it to work with the BIOS or LifeCycle screens. I am using a trial version of iDRAC Enterprise to at least install an OS but I would still like to be able to access the server from the console.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I'm not verse with TrippLite LVM B020-U08-19, but most KVM are straight forward connections.
Do you happen to swap the slot connection with the working connections that you have mentioned?
Or, how about swapping the cables which are working on other servers? Are other servers PowerEdge?
Have you tried out of KVM connection, try connecting an external keyboard and mouse, do they work?
